AKIPRESS.COM - The exchange rate of US dollar reached 394.41 tenge today by 11.00 am during trading at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange having grown for 0.41 tenge since Tuesday. The official exchange rate of the National Bank of Kazakhstan as of March 11 made 393.6 tenge for $1.
The National Bank of Kazakhstan has raised the key rate from 9.25% to 12% yesterday.
Kazakhstan like Russia is a big oil exporter. Tenge reacts to oil prices almost in the same way like the Russian ruble.
