‘Halle Berry has skills to be MMA fighter’ - Valentina Shevchenko

AKIPRESS.COM - As one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the UFC, women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko who has found time outside of the octagon to work on her acting skills. Valentina spoke with Luis Miguel Echegaray from Sports Illustrated about working with Oscar award-winning actress Halle Berry on the film "Bruised" and why she believes Berry has the skills to be a successful competitor in the UFC.
You may have heard the news that Shevchenko will star across from Halle Berry in Berry's directorial debut, an MMA-themed movie called Bruised. Berry's character is a fighter, and Shevchenko's character is the top rival.
"Halle worked so hard to prepare for filming that she could now compete with the girls in UFC," said Shevchenko.
"Halle Berry has skills to be MMA fighter. You will see it when the movie will be released. The film will be released later this year, I can't wait to see it," Shevchenko said.
