Republic’s only equestrian school needs reconstruction: MP

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Umbetaly Kydyraliyev noted the necessity to reconstruct the country's only Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve ‘Kuluk'.
The school reconstruction project was developed 6 years ago, he said at the parliament meeting on March 12.
Kydyraliyev asked the Finance Ministry to provide funding to the department of the sports facilities and support under the State Sports Agency.
"At the beginning of 2020, the State Sports Agency sent a letter to the Finance Ministry on allocation of funds for the sports facilities department, however the request was rejected and ministry recommended that the department should be self-funded. Kojomkul Sports Palace, Spartak stadium are needed reconstruction," lawmaker said.
