AKIPRESS.COM - SAEPF employees conducted the measurement of water and ground samples in the area of Ala-Archa water reservoir.
According to the results of chemical testing of water samples, the maximum permissible concentration of nitrogen ammoniacal was exceeded from 2 to 4 times, for nitrite nitrogen - from 11 to 45 times, for oil products - from 2 to 11.4 times, the Agency said.
Following the ground testing results, the maximum permissible concentration for nitrate nitrogen was increased from 2 to 13 times, for zinc 2.4 times, for copper 1.63 times, for lead 2.63 times. The maximum permissible concentration for iron grew up to 40 times, oil products up to 695 times comparing to the background concentration.
SAEPF noted that the study results of water and ground showed that a substance containing large concentration of oil products was poured into the Ala-Archa river on Feb 29.
The results of the chemical study of water and groud samples at the Ala-Archa river were sent to The State Ecological Technical Inspection in order to take corresponding measures within the framework of environmental legislation of Kyrgyzstan.
