Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan expected in Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan Bahhodur Kurbonob will make one-day working visit to Tajikistan, Asia-Plus reported. Kurbonov will visit the Fahrabad military training ground, where the joint anti-terror drill of the special task forces of the Defense Ministries of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are nearing completion.
The Defense Ministers of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will award prizes and gifts to drill participants.
The Defense Ministers will discuss current defense cooperation and its prospects.
The anti-terror drill of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan started on March 11. The countries practice joint actions in countering terrorists intruding with the purpose of destabilization of the situation on the Tajik-Uzbek border.
