Kyrgyzstan shuts down schools for quarantine

AKIPRESS.COM - Security Council of Kyrgyzstan decided to close all schools and higher education institutions of the country for quarantine from March 16 for 3 weeks, the press service of the President said.
President Sooronbai Jeenbekov on March 14 held a meeting of the Security Council in a narrow format with participation of heads of a number of state bodies and regional representatives.
"The population's health is the top priority issue," he said at the meeting.
The President noted that the coronavirus situation is under his personal control.
