PM says coronavirus "very likely to spread in Kyrgyzstan"

AKIPRESS.COM - There is a very big possibility for the coronavirus spread in Kyrgyzstan, said Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev during the press briefing on coronavirus situation.
As Kyrgyzstan's neighbors Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan confirmed the virus cases, the possibility of the virus' coming to Kyrgyzstan is great, he said.
"We go to these countries, people from these countries come here," he said.
Kyrgyzstan is among few nations of the world where coronavirus has not been reported yet, he said.
He urged to follow all precautionary measures.
Kazakhstan confirmed 9 cases and Uzbekistan confirmed 6 cases of coronavirus as of March 16. Both nations ordered lockdown to combat the virus spread.
