AKIPRESS.COM - Those spreading fake reports causing panic over coronavirus will be held accountable, President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev said in the televised address to the nation today.
"Those spreading provocative information and try to cause panic will be held accountable according to the law," the President said.
Tokayev urged citizens of Kazakhstan to seek medical assistance in case of the first signs of being unwell.
"Evasion from medical examination and breach of quarantine terms will be punished," the President warned.
The President urged citizens of Kazakhstan to stay calm, help each other.
"The strength of our people, our optimism and positive attitude to life are especially important now," the President underlined.
