Kyrgyz Parliament Committee meeting canceled after MPs skip it

AKIPRESS.COM - The meeting of the Social Issues Committee of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan was canceled after MPs skipped it.
Three MPs were present at the beginning of the Committee, including Committee Chairperson Gulkan Moldobekova.
The MPs did not show up even after a 15-minute break announced in such situations.
The Parliament Committee was supposed to consider amendments to the regulations on alimonies (2nd reading); draft law on acts of civil status (2nd reading); amendments to the Civil Code, Family Code, Children's Code, law on personal registration of citizens (2nd reading); amendments to the law on rights and guarantees for people with disabilities; implementation of HIV/AIDS prevention programs and role of the Parliament in increase of their effectiveness; condition of skin cosmetology in Kyrgyzstan and other issues.
