First Vice PM of Kyrgyzstan checks works of state bodies accountable for prevention of coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - The First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov visited the Manas International Airport to get acquainted with the works of relevant services on prevention of outbreaks and spread of coronavirus on the territory of the country, the government's press service said.
He was familiarized with the process of checking passengers arriving from Russia. A total of 120 passengers arrived. They underwent a thorough medical test at the arrival lounge. Representatives of the State Border Service checked what countries they arrived from and determined three categories of passengers confirmed by the republican office for coronavirus situation.
Boronov noted that the issue of opening additional crossing points for passengers is being considered to improve conditions of checking passengers arriving from other countries.
Then the First Deputy PM got acquainted with the observation places, where currently 88 people are quarantined for 14 days.
Boronov also visited Ak-Tilek checkpoint and was informed about the process of border crossing of people and trucks.
People crossing the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border at Ak-Tilek checkpoint are tested by medical workers. The vehicles are being disinfected upon crossing the checkpoint.
