Roadblocks to be set up at entry points to Almaty, food products and medicines to be supplied through green corridor

AKIPRESS.COM - 27 roadblocks will be set up at entry points to Almaty, mayor Bakytzhan Sagintayev said in the televised address.
Patrol police officers, special task forces of the Defense Ministry and the National Guard will be deployed to the roadblocks.
The green cordior for transportation of food products and first necessity items, medicines and medical suplies will be established, Sagintayev said.
The city will be locked down for safety of all people living there. The main aim is to stop spread of coronavirus, the mayor said.
Streets and pavements will be disinfected.
Nur-Sultan and Almaty will be locked down since 00.000 of March 19.
32 coronavirus cases were confirmed in the country, including 17 in Nur-Sultan and 15 in Almaty.
