Friday prayers postponed in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Holding of Friday prayers has been suspended in Kyrgyzstan by the decision of the muftiyat of the country.
Mufti Maksat Toktomushev in his statement said that the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan took the following decisions until coronavirus situation stabilizes:
1. To temporarily suspend Friday prayers; citizens are asked to perfrom usual daily prayer at home instead.
2. Mosques will not be closed. An azan will be performed to notify about the prayer times.
3. A 5-prayer will be performed at home.
4. To temporarily suspend the Dawats.
5. Citizens are asked to perform the prayer for the deceased at home and with a small number of people.
