Turkmenistan Airlines do not give refunds for cancelled international flights

AKIPRESS.COM - The Central Agency of Air Service in Ashgabat has not available funds and passengers are recommended to wait until the airlines sell tickets for later dates but it is known clear yet when passengers will be refunded, Chronicles of Turkmenistan reports.
"There are hundreds of passengers whose flights have been cancelled. People are panic stricken as the majority has to go into debt to be able to purchase tickets for overseas flights which are in short supply. In the first days after the cancellation of flights passengers received refunds but without a bribe it is now next to impossible to refund even the fare", the statement said.
Prior to this, Turkmenistan Airlines have cancelled a lot of international flights as part of the measures undertaken by Turkmenistan's authorities to combat the spread of coronavirus.
