13 Kyrgyz tourists returned from Thailand, Sri Lanka, Egypt

AKIPRESS.COM - On March 21-22, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan together with the embassies of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazakhstan, Malaysia, India, Saudi Arabia and the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Almaty returned 13 tourists from Kyrgyzstan.
The tourists were trapped in these countries because of the closure of borders and suspension of international communications over the coronavirus outbreak, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
The tourists accompanied by the Health Ministry officials arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic in a special transport and are going through necessary medical procedures, the statement said.
Returning the tourists from Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) is underway by the Ministry together with Kazakhstan and Association of Tour Operators of Kyrgyzstan.
