Kyrgyzstan buys 5,000 COVID-19 rapid tests

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan purchased 5,000 rapid tests for COVID-19 diagnostics, the government's press service said.
The purchase of rapid tests was financed from the special account for COVID-19 prevention opened by the Ministry of Finance.
Rapid tests are cheap, simple to use and allow to obtain the results during 20 minutes. If a person tests positive, the COVID-19 RT-PCR test will be made.
The rapid tests were successfully used in China, South Korea and other countries, the Health Ministry said.
