Citizens of other districts barred from entry to Jalal-Abad

AKIPRESS.COM - Sanitary and quarantine checkpoints were set up at the entry points to Jalal-Abad, Turmush reported. Citizens of other districts are not allowed to enter the town, citizens of the town are not allowed to leave it. Workers of government and publicly financed organizations should present passes to leave the town.
"With the purpose of prevention of coronavirus infection from spread, the entry to the town for citizens of other districts and towns was restricted since March 23, except for vehicles transporting food products and medicines. Besides, workers of publicly financed organizations should have permits to exit and enter the town. Sanitary and quarantine checkpoints were set up to prevent unauthorized movement of citizens and vehicles. Outreach work is carried out among population," Jalal-Abad mayor Murataly Tagaev said.
Many citizens used to come to Jalal-Abad town to visit a bank or markets to buy products.
"I planned to visit a bank and then to buy medicines in pharmacies. We used to travel to the town before, but the entry was closed today. This is why I am returning back to Suzak," K.Sabyrov, citizen of Suzak district, told Turmush.
