AKIPRESS.COM - Inflation rate in Kyrgyzstan keeps growing but still remains below the National Bank's target of 5-7%, according to the monthly review of the Eurasian Development Bank. In January 2020, the consumer inflation was 3.2% year-on-year against 3.1% a month earlier.
The tendency of price increase (6.2% y/y) persists primarily due to the increase in the prices for cereals and meat products.
Prices for nonfood products grew 0.5% y/y and services by 0.8% y/y.
