Bishkek commandant appoints his deputies

AKIPRESS.COM - The commandant's office has been set up in Bishkek and deputy commandants were appointed, the Bishkek commandant's press service said today.
Bishkek commandant Almazbek Orozaliev appointed the following deputies:
- Commander of ground troops of the armed forces Col. Almazbek Karasartov (responsible for use of military units of Bishkek in line with the effective legislation);
- Bishkek mayor Aziz Surakmatov (responsible for socio-economic issues);
- Bishkek city police department chief Kanat Jumagaziev (responsible for protection of public order and safety);
- Chief of the Bishkek main department of the State National Security Committee Col. Nurlan Dushekeyev (responsible for suppression of attempts on the constitutional order, sovereignty and other national security issues).
