Health workers at risk of coronavirus infection sent on paid leave

AKIPRESS.COM - The medical workers over 65-year-old, pregnant women, workers with small children, medical workers with chronic illness were sent on the paid leave in order to avoid risk of coronavirus infection, Health Ministry's spokesman Ainura Akmatova said at a briefing on March 27.
Doctors have no right to leave their jobs, the issue of their transportation is under consideration, Akmatova said and added that the National hospital provided 8 buses for the employees, as well as Bishkek's medical workers are provided with minibuses.
The issues in the Sokuluk region are also being resolved, she said.
