AKIPRESS.COM - Among 83 patients with coronavirus by March 27 in Uzbekistan, 60 caught COVID-19 from their relatives returning from abroad, the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan said. The total number of COVID-19 cases made 83, including 35 men, 48 women, 5 minors among them.
The age of the patients receiving treatment:
Under 9 years - 5 patients
10-19 year-old - 2 patients
20-29 year-old - 24 patients
30-39 year-old - 17 patients
40-49 year-old - 16 patients
50-59 year-old - 11 patients
60-69 year-old - 7 patients
70-79 year-old - 1 (this patient died of heart attack today).
23 citizens tested positive for COVID-19 after return from France, Turkey, UAE, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland. 60 contracted the infection having contacted with them.
Three patients receive medical treatment in Andijan region infectious diseases hospital.
Six patients receive medical treatment in Ferghana region infectious diseases hospital.
Five patients receive medical treatment in Namangan region infectious diseases hospital.
Three citizens tested positive for COVID-19 among those airlifted on March 22 from Istanbul to Bukhara. They receive medical treatment in Bukhara region infectious diseases hospital.
The rest patients are treated at the clinic of the Virology Research Institute in Tashkent.
All patients receive treatment according to the standards, the Ministry of Health said.
