Nobody can forecast development of situation. Government explains why Kyrgyzstan requesting aid from world community

AKIPRESS.COM - No one can forecast development of the situation, Health Minister Kosmosbek Cholponbaev told a briefing today in Bishkek.
"You know well that even developed countries saw a rapid development of the situation. I think Kyrgyzstan since the very first days made the right decision: the borders were closed since the first days. All countries of the world closed borders," Health Minister Kosmosbek Cholponbaev said.
The most important thing now is to timely detect and isolate the new cases and to treat the infected, the Health Minister added.
"Anyway, we should be prepared for the worst scenario of development of the situation. Nobody knows for sure in advance," Minister Cholponbaev said.
First Vice Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said it is impossible to conceal information about coronavirus. "Nobody conceals this information," he said.
While speaking about foreign aid, Boronov said Kyrgyzstan requests masks, medicines, reagents for tests. Food products are not requested. Kazakhstan and Russia are ready to provide aid, he said.
"We need to prepare for the worse. We should be prepared for everything," Boronov said.
