AKIPRESS.COM - The Kok-Jar rural municipality has tightened quarantine after two men residents tested positive for coronavirus, Turmush reported. "The sanitary and quarantine checkpoint was set up. The entry to the rural municipality is restricted. People may leave the village in serious cases only. All organizations and stores were closed in the rural municipality. Only one big food store stays open. Another store of agricultural equipment keeps working as well," the rural municipality administration said.
The father and the son tested positive for coronavirus.
"This family was under observation. The house was disinfected and closed. All streets were sanitized," the rural municipality administration said.
According to the Ministry of Health, the family arrived from Dubai on March 12. All family members were under home quarantine.
13 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Kyrgyzstan today, including 1 in Bishkek, 3 in Naryn region, 2 in Issyk-Kul region, 1 in Chui region, 5 in Osh region, 1 in Jalal-Abad region.
Kyrgyzstan has so far confirmed 107 cases.
