Kyrgyz citizens stranded in Novosibirsk airport placed at hotels – Foreign Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - Citizens of Kyrgyzstan stranded at Tolmachevo airport in Novosibirsk were placed at hotels, the Foreign Ministry said today.
The Russian local media reported that citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan stuck in the airport after the flights were canceled amid coronavirus pandemic were evicted from the Novosibirsk airport.
The Foreign Ministry said 132 citizens of Kyrgyzstan were placed at hotels of Novosibirsk. An international organization financed their accommodation and arranged meals for the Kyrgyz citizens. The Kyrgyz diaspora provides assistance with transportation and arrangement of hot meals.
Self-isolation regime is in effect in Novosibirsk region since March 31. Movement of citizens is restricted, work of organizations is prohibited, except for those supporting life of the region and cities.
