AKIPRESS.COM - Health Minister Sabirjan Abdikarimov has urged the coronavirus patients who were discharged from hospital after recovery to provide only true information.
"Some of them say they were not given medicines, that they were not infected at all. The COVID-19 positive person may not develop any signs of disease, but has virus inside. Such person is more dangerous for people surrounding him or her. Such person does not feel he or she is ill, but virus lives and other people can catch it," the Minister said during a briefing today.
The Health Minister denied the information saying the patients were not given any medicines.
"Think before you say something, you should tell the truth. It is particularly unpleasant when believers tell false information," Minister Abdikarimov added.
The Minister reminded about the sanctions foreseen for spread of false information.
He also noted the role of the rural municipalities in disinfection of streets and public places, purchase of medicines and medical supplies.
