AKIPRESS.COM - Twenty new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Kazakhstan on April 5, the Ministry of Health repoted.
The new cases included 17 in Jambyl region, 1 in East Kazakhstan region, 2 in Turkestan region.
The total number of cases reached 551 by April 5, including 219 in Nur-Sultan, 110 in Almaty, 30 in Kyzyl-Orda reigon, 27 in Karaganda region, 25 in North Kazakhstan region, 25 in Turkestan region, 22 in Atyrau region, 20 in Akmola region, 13 in Shymkent, 28 in Jambyl region, 10 in
Almaty region, 10 in Aktobe region, 5 in East Kazakhstan region, 2 in West Kazakhstan region, 3 in Mangistau region, 1 in Pavlodar region, 1 in Kostanai region.
36 patients recovered.
Kazakhstan has registered 5 coronabirus-linked deaths. On March 26, a 64-year-old woman died in Nur-Sultan. A 50-year-old man died in Nur-Sultan on March 31. A 62-year-old man died in Karaganda. One lethal case was reported then in Turkestan and Akmola regions each.
