Around 12,000 lonely elderly people and people with disabilities helped by social workers

AKIPRESS.COM - Around 12,000 lonely people, elderly people and people with disabilities among them, have been registered with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development.
945 social workers help such lonely people every day, Minister of Labor and Social Development Ulugbek Kochkorov said.
"Except for districts and cities where the state of emergency was declared, social work is carried out in full. Local authorities work in the areas where the state of emergency is in effect," the Minister said.
