Over 183 million soms spent for Covid-19 fight in Kyrgyzstan - Prime Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - 183.3 million soms out of 340 million soms additionally allocated funds were spent for Covid-19 fight, said the Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev at a meeting of the nation-wide operative team to contain coronavirus April 11.
"Over 173 million soms were transferred to the account of the Emergencies Ministry, over 3 million soms to the account of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety, some 769,000 soms to the Foreign Ministry and 994,5000 soms to the Transport Ministry. The remaining 116.6 million soms will be distributed among these ministries and departments. 40 million soms allocated to the Health Ministry are used for its intended purpose," he said.
"43% of coronavirus patients are carriers and the rest 57% are those who contacted with infected. 290 people were hospitalized, 5 people died. We express our condolences to their families. 44 citizens were discharged after recovery," Abilgaziyev said.
Prime Minister noted that 1,113 people are under observation. "20,435 out of 53,752 people were discharged from home quarantine. The rest 33,316 people are under medical observation at home. The health workers work in the robust regime and provided with all needed coveralls and drugs. They timely receive the wages. There are enough necessary equipment for the treatment of the patients, including ventilators. There are no problems with the food," he added.
