First Vice PM Boronov explains why extension of state of emergency suggested

AKIPRESS.COM - First Vice Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov explained why President Sooronbai Jeenbekov was proposed to consider extension of the state of emergency and emergency situation. This is explained since the new coronavirus cases are confirmed and the time is required for detection of contacts and examination of all circumstances of new cases, the First Vice Prime Minister told a briefing today.
He reminded the state of emergency was declared in Bishkek, Osh, Jalal-Abad and 3 districts from March 25 and until April 15.
"We are having the last days of the state of emergency now. After monitoring of the situation and recommendations of specialists, we suggested to President Sooronbai Jeenbekov to extend the state of emergency and emergency situation," he said.
