Education Minister discusses pros and cons of e-learning in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Education Minister Kanybek Isakov held online-session with the heads of the city and district education departments, said the Education Ministry.
The minister briefed on the successes and shortcomings of the e-learning, which was launched in Kyrgyzstan.
"The e-learning began well. Nevertheless, there are difficulties in organizing feedback with schoolchildren in areas with slow internet connection, the lack of information and communication competence among some teachers and the presence of families without TV," the statement said.
"Our teachers have good potential despite the fact that e-learning was launched in Kyrgyzstan for the first time. I would like to thank the local authorities and sponsors for helping families who do not have TVs and phones," he said.
