AKIPRESS.COM - The damage caused by a wind storm in At-Bashi district, Naryn region, is estimated at 2.357 million soms, governor Nurbek Satarov said.
Only 10% of affected houses were insured, he said.
"The damage was estimated. Support will be provided to needy people. The damage is estimated at 2.357 million soms, including 958,000 soms damage for houses, 180,000 soms damage for social facilities, 1.248 million soms for outbuildings. Only 10% of houses were insured. They will receive compensations," he said.
The speed of the wind in At-Bashi district reached 23-25 m/sec. The wind storm destroyed roofs of the houses, household outbuildings, administrative buildings.
