Uzbekistan Airways transforming its airliners into cargo planes

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan Airways has made the decision to repurpose its Boeing-767-300-ER passenger planes into Boeing-767-300-PTC cargo planes.
Amid the growing demand for cargo transportation and cancellation of passenger flights, Uzbekistan Airways said it made the decision to transform the passenger planes into cargo planes.
Transformation process entails removal of passenger seats from economy class and use of the vacant areas for cargo transportation. This will allow to load up to 20 tons of cargo to the upper deck and to increase the volume of commercial cargo to 180 cubic meters.
The first cargo flight is planned for April 21.
