Kazakhstan bans livestock export for 6 months

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan has banned export of cows, sheep and goats for 6 months.
The order on ban of agricultural animals export was signed by Agriculture Minister Saparkhan Omarov and Finance Minister Alikhan Smailov.
The ban enters into force 10 days after its signing, that is on April 25.
Kazakhstan earlier banned export of cattle from February 10 to April 22.
The Meat Union of Kazakhstan led by ex-Agriculture Minister Asyljan Mamytbekov opposed the move then.
