AKIPRESS.COM - "We have to use such unpopular measures to reduce movement of cars and people inside them," Bishkek commandant Almaz Orozaliev said today concerning the concrete blocks set up in the capital.
The concrete roadblocks were set up in an S-curve allowing emergency vehicles (ambulances, fire engines) to freely pass them, he said.
"The movement will be restricted, not stopped," Orozaliev said.
