Four die of pneumonia in Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Four patients of the Dushanbe health center No. 1 died from pneumonia today, Asia-Plus reported.
The information was confirmed by hospital chief Khurshed Rustamzoda.
"Unfortunately, four our patients died from pneumonia today. The patients were above 60 years, males," he said.
All four tested negative for coronavirus, the hospital chief added.
Tajik Deputy Health and Social Protection Minister Shodikhon Jamshed said earlier the prevalence rate of respiratory diseases, pneumonia among them, sharply grew in Tajikistan due to unfavorable weather conditions.
According to the Medical Statistics and Information Center of the Ministry of Health, 12,802 pneumonia cases were registered in Tajikistan last year. The number of lethal cases was not reported.
