Serviceman with COVID-19 dies in Kazakhstan. He participated in disinfection process in Aktau

AKIPRESS.COM - A serviceman infected with COVID-19 died in Mangistau region, region chief sanitary inspector Yergali Sydymanov said.
"A 40-year-old patient sought medical assistance on April 20, as he had a high temperature and a sore throat. He was sick for a week already when he called ambulance. The X-ray found he had pneumonia. The man was tested for coronavirus twice. The first test was negative, the second was positive. He served in one of the military units of the region. He was involved into disinfection process in Aktau. Father of 5 children," Yergali Sydymanov said.
All those who contacted the serviceman were quarantined.
This is the fifth lethal case announced today in Kazakhstan. The death toll from COVID-19 reached 25.
