China hands over personal protective equipment to State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Embassy of China handed over personal protective equipment to the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan at a ceremony on April 24 in Bishkek.
Ambassador of China Du Dewen and State Border Service Chairman Ularbek Sharsheyev noted the two countries having a common border need to consolidate their efforts in COVID-19 fight.
In connection with the coronavirus pandemic, the range of tasks faced by Kyrgyz border guards expanded, Ularbek Sharsheyev said.
For this reason, medical masks, protective coveralls, googles, infrared thermometers will help to protect health of border guards, he said.
The personal protective equipment handed over by the government of China will be distributed among border detachments of Kyrgyzstan.
