1.5 thousand calls complaining on police actions received in Bishkek since state of emergency

AKIPRESS.COM - Hotline of the commandant's office received 1.5 thousand calls with complaints against the actions of law enforcement officers since March 25 when the state of emergency was introduced, Bishkek governor Almaz Orozaliyev reported.
Most of the calls concerned the traffic jams at coronavirus checkpoints, he said.
"But this all is done not because we wanted it, the traffic jams are linked to health workers' checkup. Every passenger, driver is subjected to a temperature check. This creates traffic jams," he said.
