Polish specialists praise professionalism of Kyrgyz doctors – Government

AKIPRESS.COM - WHO Country Office in Kyrgyzstan has organized the meeting for the Polish medical specialists and the Kyrgyz government representatives on April 24. During the meeting the Polish medical specialists shared their views on the work, conducted during the last 4 days at the state infectious hospital, the Health Ministry reports.
The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Head of the President's Office Almaz Kenebayev, Vice Prime Minister Aida Ismailova, Minister of Health Sabirjan Abdikarimov, Head of the WHO Country Office in the Kyrgyz Republic Nazira Artykova and other officials.
During the meeting, the Polish team leader Michal Madeyski highly noted the level of training of Kyrgyz specialists, coordination in work, measures taken by the hospital's management to prevent infection of healthcare workers.
Specialists noted that treatment methods of coronavirus patients are similar to those used in Poland and Italy.
The Health Minister Sabirjan Abdikarimov expressed gratitude to the World Health Organization for the technical support, provided to the health system of Kyrgyzstan and colleagues from Poland for practical advice in treating patients.
Today, the Polish specialists head to the southern regions of the country, where along with Kyrgyz doctors will examine patients and analyze the causes of infection of medical workers.
