Treatment of critically ill patient with COVID-19 costs around $1,500 in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Medical treatment of all coronavirus patients will be financed by the state, Health Minister Sabirjan Abdikarimov told a briefing today.
Finances will be required for purchase of medicines, stay at hospital, medical supplies and COVID-19 tests, he said.
Depending upon severity of condition of patients, there are four types of medical treatment: treatment for mild, moderate, serious, and critical form.
Thus, costs for a treatment of a coronavirus patient with mild symptoms make 7,988 soms (around $100). Treatment of a coronavirus patient with moderate symptoms costs 16,370 soms (abount $200). Treatment of seriously ill patient will cost 74,760 soms (around $935). Treatment of critically ill patients will require 118,807 soms ($1,485).
