Issyk-Kul region medical workers leave observation point after a month of stay there

AKIPRESS.COM - Twenty four medical workers staying in the observation point of Issyk-Kul region were discharged home, hospital chief Toktobai Manaev said.
12 medical workers treated the coronavirus patients. Another 12 medical workers were observing their colleagues, who were held in the observation point for 14 days.
"The first coronavirus case was confirmed on April 6. The patient was isolated in the infectious diseases department. 12 medical workers were treating the coronavirus patients day and night. After the patients recovered, the medical workers were transferred to the observation point. So, they stayed at the hospital for a month. Their condition is good. They tested negative for coronavirus twice. For this reason they were discharged from hospital," the chief said.
