Parliament orders government to ensure transparency of use of funds raised from international financial institutions

AKIPRESS.COM - The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan instructed the government to transfer all the raised from international financial institutions and foreign nations funds to the State Reserve Fund. The Parliament also instructed the government to make amendments to the Budget Code of the Kyrgyz Republic allowing to make expenditures in accordance with income and giving permission for cash execution of the state budget.
The MPs also ordered the government to ensure transparency in the distribution and using the funds coming to special accounts to stem COVID-19 spread, as well as the humanitarian aid from international financial institutions, organizations, legal entities and individuals.
