9th patient with COVID-19 died in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The 9th coronavirus patient died on April 29 in Tashkent.
The 61-year-old man was taken to the hospital with stroke on April 15, the tests found the man was COVID-19 positive.
The patient was transferred to the clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy in a critical condition. The patient remained hooked up to ventilator for 2 weeks.
The patient had such chronic conditions as cerebrovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, double bronchial pneumonia, acute kidney failure, high blood pressure.
Despite the intensive therapy, the patient died of acute respiratory distress, acute pulmonary and heart failure.
