Tajikistan confirms 15 COVID-19 cases

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health of Tajikistan officially admitted presence of coronavirus infection in the country.
15 COVID-19 cases were confirmed, Avesta reported.
Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda held the meeting of the nation-wide team for COVID-19 prevention today.
It was announced at the meeting that 15 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the Tajikistan on April 29. They included 10 in Khujand, Sughd region, and 5 in Dushanbe.
Universities of the country will be closed for summer break since May 4. The final examinations will be held before May 15.
Citizens are required to wear face masks.
According to official information, since February 1 and until April 30, some 10,397 citizens were quarantined. Some 8,438 people were discharged from quarantine.
More than 2,000 people under medical observation in hospitals.
