AKIPRESS.COM - The Civil Aviation Agency of Tajikistan sent the notices to local and international air carriers saying nationals of the 35 countries should not be taken aboard, Asia-Plus reported.
Such move is explained with prevention of coronavirus spread and ensuring safety for citizens of Tajikistan.
The list of 35 countries includes China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Finland, Italy, UK, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Israel, Austria, Croatia, Switzerland, Canada, U.S., UAE, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Afghanistan, Iraq and Algeria.
The Civil Aviation Agency called to stop selling tickets to nationals of the above countries if they plan to travel to Tajikistan.
Citizens of the above countries will be returned back in case of their arrival in Tajikistan.
Citizens of Tajikistan arriving from the above countries will be quarantined.
