Groundbreaking ceremony held for 50-bed children’s hospital in Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - A groundbreaking ceremony of a 50-bed hospital of the Second State Central Hospital was held on April 30 with Minister of Health D.Sarangerel, Ambassador of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui, Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports G.Ganbayar and other officials in attendance.
The children's hospital under construction with support from the China Foundation for Peace and Development will open within September 1 and the opening of the new health facility with an annual capacity of 18,000 outpatients and 2,000 inpatients is expected to lighten the load of district hospitals in the eastern part of Ulaanbaatar that provide healthcare services for over 150,000 children by 20 percent.
