Peak of coronavirus active cases recorded on April 11-20 in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Health Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said the peak of coronavirus active cases was recorded on April 11-20. People's following the action-plan rules had an impact on reducing of coronavirus cases, head of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Viral Disease Control Zuridin Nurmatov noted on May 3.
The peak of active COVID-19 cases was previously predicted for 20-24 April, but in fact the biggest number of infections was recorded from April 11 to 20, he noted.
"This was due to the introduction of quarantine, people's following the action plan of preventive measures: frequent washing hands, wearing masks, physical distancing and other preventive measures," Nurmatov said.
