AKIPRESS.COM - The draft bilateral agreements on regulating labor migration between the governments of Bulgaria and Turkmenistan have been approved by the Bulgarian Council of Ministers, Trend reports.
The projects will be the basis for negotiations on issues related to the regulation of employment of citizens of these countries, the Bulgarian government said.
In particular, the draft Agreement envisages the creation of favorable conditions for employees and employees on the territory of the host country, where they will be able to enjoy all rights and responsibilities on an equal basis with local employees.
A government agreement on economic cooperation signed in Ashgabat in 2008 is in force between Turkmenistan and Bulgaria.
In 2015, during the official visit of the Bulgarian delegation to Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov signed a Joint statement in which the parties expressed their satisfaction with the progressive development of bilateral cooperation.
Last August, a representative delegation of Bulgaria headed by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov paid a working visit to the city of Turkmenbashi, during which it took part in the opening ceremony of the Caspian exhibition of innovative technologies and the auto exhibition "Turkmen sahrasy-2019", as well as in the first Caspian economic forum. During the visit, a meeting of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Bulgarian Commission on economic cooperation was also held in the Caspian Avaza, during which issues of partnership in the fields of energy, trade, agriculture, transport and communications were discussed.
