AKIPRESS.COM - 72 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Kazakhstan by 10.00 a.m. of May 5, the Ministry of Health said. These new cases included 17 in Almaty, 17 in Nur-Sultan, 11 in Turkestan region, 10 in Mangistau region, 9 in Atyrau region, 4 in West Kazakhstan region, 2 in Kyzylorda region, 2 in Shymkent.
Twenty one cases were confirmed by 10.20 p.m. of May 4. Those cases included 9 in Atyrau region, 5 in Nur-Sultan, 4 in Jambyl region, 1 in East Kazakhstan region, 1 in West Kazakhstan region, 1 in Almaty.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country reached 4,121, including⠀1,335 in Almaty, 723 in Nur-Sultan, 216 in Kyzylorda region, 215 in Shymkent, 202 in Atyrau region, 198 in West Kazakhstan region, 160 in Aktobe region, 159 in Karaganda region, 158 in Jambyl region, 156 in Almaty region, 154 in Turkestan region, 150 in Pavlodar region, 101 in Akmola region, 84 in Mangistau region, 50 in Kostanai region, 30 in North Kazakhstan region, 30 in East Kazakhstan region.
