Dushanbe to repurpose high-rise buildings as hospitals for COVID-19 patients

AKIPRESS.COM - Dushanbe mayor Rustam Emomali ordered to re-purpose unfinished high-rise buildings in the capital for treatment of COVID-19 patients, Asia-Plus reported.
The mayor visited two unfinished high-rise buildings in the capital and tasked the line agencies to prepare a hospital for 600 coronavirus patients within 3 days, to supply it with all necessary medicines, supplies and to attract medical professionals.
The hospital will occupy a 6-floor building, on more than 14,200 sq m, will include 110 medical rooms and 24 doctor offices, modern canteen.
The beds will be arranged in the near time there, the mayor's press office said.
The mayor ordered to prepare the second building for treatment of 200 patients within one month.
By May 5, Tajikistan has confirmed 230 COVID-19 cases. Three patients died.
