AKIPRESS.COM - The government of Kyrgyzstan developed the second package of measures to support the economy and businesses for totaling 40 billion soms, the government said on May 6. The second package of measures is aimed at phased resumption of economic activity and offers financial support measures.
The second package consists of 19 measures, including the preferential lending to business entities and a number of fiscal measures such as revising the obligations of tax contracts and restructuring the debt on taxes and social contributions.
Businesses focused on export and food security will also get aid, the statement said,
Government said it found financing of about 40 billion soms: 4.2 billion soms from the Kumtor, 14 billion soms from donors, and 4.3 billion soms from external debt restructuring.
Additionally, about 17.5 billion soms came from other sources, such as the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development, Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev said.
Mid-term program of post-crisis recovery and economic development is under development, the government added.
